Pre-recorded video → YouTube LIVE

Run YouTube LIVE from the cloud,
not your computer.

EasyLoop is a cloud streaming service that streams pre-recorded video to YouTube LIVE without requiring OBS or an always-on computer. Upload your video once and EasyLoop handles looping, scheduling, video checks, and automatic recovery from the cloud.

No OBS or always-on computer required.

How it works

Upload once. EasyLoop handles the stream.

EasyLoop takes a pre-recorded video you upload, checks it for streaming compatibility, and sends it to YouTube LIVE from the cloud. The entire streaming process runs on EasyLoop's infrastructure — your computer can be off.

  1. 1

    Upload your video

Upload your pre-recorded video directly to EasyLoop.

  2. 2

    Video check

EasyLoop checks your video and prepares it for reliable streaming when needed. Compatible videos are used unchanged.

  3. 3

    Connect YouTube

Add the RTMP URL and Stream Key from YouTube Studio, then grant the separate read-only permission EasyLoop uses to verify stream health.

  4. 4

    Start or schedule LIVE

Start immediately or schedule the stream for later. EasyLoop handles looping, monitoring, and automatic recovery in the cloud.

Your computer does not need to stay on after the stream is running.

Use cases

Built for creators who stream pre-recorded content to YouTube LIVE.

24/7 YouTube LIVE music streams

Run a continuous YouTube LIVE music stream from uploaded video files without keeping a computer or VPS running.

Looping background and ambience streams

Stream looping visuals — rain sounds, fireplace, study beats, city walks — to YouTube LIVE around the clock.

Scheduled YouTube LIVE streams

Schedule a pre-recorded video to go live at a specific time. EasyLoop starts and optionally stops the stream automatically.

Streaming recorded videos as YouTube LIVE

Take a finished recording — a podcast, lecture, gameplay session, or event recap — and stream it as a new YouTube LIVE event.

Built for long-form YouTube creators

EasyLoop is YouTube live streaming software for creators who want to turn prerecorded videos into scheduled YouTube LIVE streams from the cloud without keeping a PC running.

Sleep, meditation & black-screen videos

Long-form sleep music, meditation, binaural beats, frequency audio, affirmations, and black-screen overnight content.

Lo-fi, focus & background

Lo-fi, café jazz, study music, focus sessions, coding music, and productivity backgrounds for long scheduled streams.

Pet & family

Dog-calming videos, cat TV, aquariums, baby sleep content, and other passive-viewing formats.

Rain, nature & ambience

Rain, thunderstorms, fireplaces, forests, oceans, seasonal rooms, and other long-form ambience.

No always-on PC

Your stream runs in the cloud.

EasyLoop runs the streaming process on cloud infrastructure, so your own computer does not need to stay on after the stream is running.

Do I need to keep my computer on?
No. After EasyLoop starts the stream, the streaming process runs in the cloud rather than on your computer.
Do I need OBS?
No. EasyLoop streams your uploaded pre-recorded video directly to YouTube LIVE, so OBS is not required for the EasyLoop workflow.
What do I need from YouTube Studio?
You need the RTMP URL and Stream Key from your YouTube LIVE setup. EasyLoop uses those details to send the stream to YouTube.

Reliability

If the stream drops, EasyLoop tries to recover it automatically.

EasyLoop monitors the streaming process and can restart it after an unexpected failure without requiring you to manually reconnect the stream.

Stream monitoring

EasyLoop tracks the running stream process so unexpected failures can be detected.

Automatic recovery

If the streaming process stops unexpectedly, EasyLoop can attempt a controlled restart using the same stream configuration.

Clear status

Stream status, restart activity, and safe error information are recorded so you can see what happened.

Automatic recovery reduces manual intervention, but it is not an uptime guarantee.

Video preflight

Know whether your video is ready before you go LIVE.

EasyLoop checks important video and audio properties after upload so common compatibility problems can be found before streaming starts.

Video settings

  • Resolution
  • Frame rate
  • Video codec
  • Bitrate
  • Keyframe interval

Audio settings

  • Audio codec
  • Sample rate

Clear result

Your uploaded video receives a clear preflight status so you can see whether it is ready, needs attention, or is not supported.

EasyLoop prepares uploaded videos for reliable streaming when needed. Compatible videos are used unchanged.

Scheduling & playlists

Plan the stream once and let EasyLoop keep it moving.

Use a single video or a playlist, choose whether it should loop, and start immediately or schedule the stream for later.

Scheduling

Choose a future start time and, when needed, an optional stop time for your YouTube LIVE stream.

Playlists

Arrange multiple uploaded videos in a playlist and stream them in the saved order.

Looping

Loop a single video or repeat a playlist continuously when the stream reaches the end.

Scheduling, playlists, and looping use the same concurrent stream slot rather than creating a new paid slot for each video or scheduled event.

Storage & content length

Storage depends on how much unique video you want in the loop.

A 24/7 stream does not require 24 hours of unique video. The storage you need depends on your file sizes, video quality, and how often you are comfortable repeating the content.

  • Shorter loop—Use a smaller set of videos when frequent repetition is acceptable.
  • Longer unique rotation—Add more videos when you want the stream to run longer before the playlist repeats.
  • File size matters—Higher resolution, bitrate, frame rate, and longer video duration can increase the amount of storage each file uses.

EasyLoop is designed for active streaming content, not as permanent general-purpose cloud video storage.

EasyLoop vs DIY

Use EasyLoop instead of keeping OBS or a VPS setup running yourself.

OBS and VPS workflows require you to manage the streaming environment yourself — keeping a computer on, monitoring the process, and restarting after failures. EasyLoop replaces that setup with a managed cloud service built for pre-recorded YouTube LIVE.

EasyLoop is not a live production studio. It is focused on pre-recorded video to YouTube LIVE.

YouTube LIVE rules

EasyLoop runs the stream. YouTube still sets the platform rules.

Using EasyLoop does not change YouTube's requirements for live streaming, archiving, monetization, copyright, or channel eligibility.

What happens if a YouTube LIVE stream runs longer than 12 hours?
YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived. If a stream exceeds 12 hours, YouTube says it may not be captured at all.
Does looping pre-recorded content guarantee monetization eligibility?
No. Monetization eligibility and repetitive-content decisions are controlled by YouTube. EasyLoop does not determine whether a channel or stream qualifies for monetization.
Who is responsible for copyright and content rights?
You are responsible for having the rights to the video, music, and other content you stream and for following YouTube's policies.

For long-form streams you may want to keep available as replays, plan stream duration with YouTube's current archiving rules in mind.

Security

EasyLoop uses your Stream Key plus limited read-only health access.

EasyLoop connects to YouTube LIVE using the RTMP URL and Stream Key you provide from YouTube Studio.

Does EasyLoop need access to my full YouTube account?
No. EasyLoop uses the RTMP URL and Stream Key to publish and a separate YouTube read-only permission only to verify broadcast and ingest health.
How is my Stream Key handled?
EasyLoop stores the Stream Key protected and does not return it in normal authenticated app responses or display it back in the standard interface.
Can I replace my Stream Key later?
Yes. You can replace the saved Stream Key for a stream configuration without rebuilding the entire stream setup.

Treat your YouTube Stream Key like a password and rotate it in YouTube Studio if you believe it has been exposed.

FAQ

Common questions about EasyLoop

Getting started

What is EasyLoop?

EasyLoop is a cloud service that takes a pre-recorded video you upload and streams it to YouTube LIVE on your behalf. Your computer does not need to stay on — the streaming process runs in the cloud.

Who is EasyLoop for?

EasyLoop is for anyone who wants to run a YouTube LIVE stream from a pre-recorded video without setting up OBS, a VPS, or leaving a computer running. Common uses include 24/7 music streams, looping background videos, scheduled broadcasts, and restreaming recorded content.

What does "pre-recorded video as YouTube LIVE" mean?

You upload a video file to EasyLoop and EasyLoop sends it to YouTube as a live stream. Viewers on YouTube see it as a LIVE broadcast even though the source is a pre-recorded file.

Do I need OBS or any streaming software?

No. EasyLoop replaces OBS for this workflow. You upload your video, enter your YouTube RTMP details, and EasyLoop handles the streaming process.

Does my computer need to stay on?

No. After you start or schedule the stream, the streaming process runs in the cloud. You can close your browser and your computer.

YouTube connection

How does EasyLoop connect to YouTube?

You paste the RTMP URL and Stream Key from YouTube Studio into EasyLoop. EasyLoop uses those values to send the stream and a separate YouTube read-only connection to verify broadcast and ingest health. EasyLoop cannot manage your YouTube content.

Where do I find my RTMP URL and Stream Key?

In YouTube Studio, go to Create, then Go Live to open Live Control Room. Open the Stream area for your LIVE setup, then copy the Stream URL and the Stream Key shown there.

Does EasyLoop need access to my YouTube account?

No full account access is required. EasyLoop uses the RTMP URL and Stream Key to broadcast, plus a separate YouTube read-only permission to verify the matched broadcast and ingest health. It cannot edit or manage your channel or content.

Does EasyLoop support platforms other than YouTube?

EasyLoop currently supports YouTube LIVE only. Support for other platforms is not available at this time.

Videos & uploads

Which video formats can I upload?

EasyLoop accepts common video files including MP4, MOV, and MKV. After upload, EasyLoop checks your video and prepares it for reliable streaming when needed — compatible videos are used unchanged. For best results, use H.264 video with AAC audio in an MP4 container.

Does EasyLoop change my uploaded file?

No. Your original uploaded file is always preserved. EasyLoop prepares your video for streaming when needed.

Can I delete uploaded videos?

Yes. You can delete videos from your library at any time.

How does storage work?

Your storage quota covers uploaded video files. Uploading more or larger videos uses more storage. Deleting videos frees up space. No storage add-ons are available.

Streaming

Can I loop a video?

Yes. When looping is on, the video or playlist restarts from the beginning after it finishes. When looping is off, the stream ends when the source finishes.

Can I use multiple videos in one stream?

Yes. Create a playlist, arrange your uploaded videos in order, and assign the playlist to a stream. You can loop the playlist if needed.

Can I schedule a stream?

Yes. You can choose a future start time and an optional stop time. EasyLoop automatically starts and stops the stream at the times you set.

Can I stop and restart a stream?

Yes. You can stop a running stream and restart it later using the same saved configuration. Restarting does not require rebuilding the stream setup.

What happens if the stream drops?

EasyLoop monitors the streaming process and can attempt automatic recovery after an unexpected failure, without requiring you to manually reconnect.

How many streams can I run at the same time?

That depends on your plan. Start allows 1 simultaneous stream. Creator allows 4. Studio allows 8. Each stream uses one concurrent stream slot regardless of whether it is looping, scheduled, or using a playlist.

Plans & billing

What plans are available?

Start ($9.90/month or $106.92/year) includes 1 simultaneous stream (up to Full HD) and 10 GB storage. Creator ($29.90/month or $322.92/year) includes 4 streams and 50 GB. Studio ($59.90/month or $646.92/year) includes 8 streams and 100 GB. Annual billing includes a 10% discount.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. The $0 Free Trial includes 3 cumulative streaming hours, expires 3 days after activation, includes 1 GB of storage, and allows 1 simultaneous Full HD stream (1080p). No payment card is required, and the trial does not automatically convert to a paid plan.

Does the trial automatically convert to a paid plan?

No. The Free Trial ends after 3 days or when its 3 cumulative streaming hours are used, whichever happens first. You must explicitly choose a paid plan to continue streaming.

Is there a trial watermark?

Yes. Streams during the Free Trial include a trial watermark on the stream output.

What currency are prices in?

All prices are in USD.

Security & privacy

How is my Stream Key handled?
